About the Journal

Brazilian Journal of Information Systems (iSys) is a scientific publication of the Special Committee on Information Systems (CESI) of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC). The journal publishes research studies on the foundations, design, evaluation and impacts of  information systems from three perspectives: technology, people and organizations. The journal accepts submissions via regular issues and special issues upon peer-review from a committee of experienced researchers in the field. Authors of all submitted papers should follow submission-related policies and information.

iSys is a scientific publication from the Special Commission of Information Systems (CESI) of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), with the support of the Post-graduate Programme of Infomatics (PPGI) of the Department of Applied Informatics (DIA) from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO). The journal publishes research studies that analyze information systems under three perspectives: development, management, and infrastructure. Besides the call for thematic editions (or special editions), iSys also receives paper submissions in stream.  For the submissions, authors should observe the journal's policies and information for submissions.
