JIS receives B1 at Qualis 2017-2020

According to CAPES, JIS received the Qualis B1 classification for 2017-2020.

CAPES is the body that regulates and evaluates graduate courses in Brazil. Every four years, it evaluates Brazilian graduate programs, and Qualis, a journal ranking list, is published.

For that period, JIS used ISSN 2236-3297 and had the name "SBC Journal on 3D Interactive Systems". This data was updated in 2021 when JIS was renamed Journal on Interactive Systems.

For the 2021-2024 period, our Editorial Committee expects that JIS will be ranked at level A.
