Focus and Scope

SBC Reviews on Computer Science (ROCS) - or simply SBC Reviews - is a publication of the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC) that aims to publish comprehensive and detailed literature reviews on various topics of interest in computing, offering a channel for the dissemination of high-quality secondary studies and a reliable source for researchers looking for information about the state of the art in computer technologies.

Authors are invited to submit original contributions – written in English – presenting secondary studies, which will be evaluated taking into account both the rigor and reproducibility of the selection process of primary works, as well as the quality and reliability of the analysis of these works. Selected works should offer a contribution to the target area of the study. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

Periodicity

SBC Reviews adopts the Continuous Publication model. It means that articles are published soon after acceptance, without the need to wait for the complete composition of the fascicles or serial editions. This modality brings advantages for all actors of scientific information --- researchers, students, readers, publishers, and funding agencies --- by promoting speed in the process of communication and availability of research for reading and citation.

Open Access Policy

SBC Reviews offers immediate open access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public provides greater global democratization of knowledge. There are no subscription, submission, review, editing, or publication fees.
