Resumo
Although the infant mortality index has been reduced in recent years, this issue is still considered a serious problem in Brazilian health system indicators. In this context, the GISSA Framework (Intelligent Governance Framework for Brazilian Health System) emerges as a framework for the Federal Government program, called “Rede Cegonha”. The main objective is to improve the health care for pregnant woman as well as the newborn. This framework aims to generate alerts focusing on the health status verification of newborns and pregnant woman in order to help healthy decision-makers in preventive actions that may mitigate the problem. Therefore, this paper presents the LAIS, an Intelligent Health System Analyzer based on data mining classifiers, which the objective is to generate alerts. Finally, we present the proposal results of an application that provides the death probability of a newborn, based on the analysis of his attributes and his mother.
