Analytic System of University Progression
Abstract
This article addresses the issue of scheduling to analyze the academic progression of students, which involves allocating subjects to a curriculum schedule. The proposed solution is a virtual platform that helps students choose which subjects to take in the next periods, optimizing processes and motivating student engagement with the course while familiarizing them with the analysis of their academic data. This allows students to learn how to work with data and develop skills to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret information in a critical and creative way. Preliminary computational results demonstrate the potential of the tool to motivate students to perform data analysis and generate feedback metrics.
