Open Educational Resources to Support Computing Education in Primary and Secondary Schools
Abstract
The ratification of Parecer CNE/CEB 2/2022 established new and imminent challenges to teachers and many education professionals: Computing education in primary and secondary schools. In this context, this short course aims at enabling the attendees to create and share Open Educational Resources (OER) - using the dynamic repository "aquare!a" - which may guide the implementation of the Computing thematic axes in schools. By recognizing the exchange of knowledge as a collaborative and feasible attitude towards more fruitful solutions, the practices related to OER may contribute meaningfully as a support to spread knowledge and experiences. Therefore, the short course is expected to promote the perception of OER as a relevant tool to share ideas, projects and a variety of educational materials which may foster more assertive practices for teaching and learning.
