Academia-Market Integration in the Computing Field: A Systematic Mapping
Abstract
This systematic review article analyzes the integration between academia and the market in the field of computing, a relevant topic due to the growing demand for qualified professionals. The objective is to explore practices of this integration, such as internship programs, co-creation of curricula, and practice-oriented teaching methodologies. The collaboration between institutions and companies improves students’ training, emphasizing practical and interpersonal skills. However, challenges such as curriculum adaptation and cultural resistance were identified. The study highlights the importance of aligning curricula with market demands and suggests the need for further research on the implementation of these practices.References
