A Catalog of Data Governance Maturity Indicators Derived from the DAMA-DMBOK
Resumo
Data Governance has become essential for ensuring the quality, security, and proper management of organizational data. Although the DAMA-DMBOK provides comprehensive guidance for implementing Data Governance, it is not an implementation methodology, as it does not define execution stages or maturity levels for the adoption of its recommendations. Based on a systematic analysis of the DAMA-DMBOK, this paper proposes a catalog of 36 Data Governance maturity indicators organized according to its eleven knowledge areas and classified into strategic, organizational, and technical dimensions. The proposed catalog provides a structured foundation for developing Data Governance maturity assessment methods.
