New York – A Case Study on Crime Analysis
Abstract
This ongoing study uses exploratory analysis within crime datas in New York City, focusing on identifying crimes occurring outside the coverage areas of police stations. The methodology included a density analysis to highlight vulnerable regions without nearby police stations. The results provide insights for public safety policies, identifying critical areas for the potential establishment of new police stations and the strategic allocation of resources.References
