Blockchain use on sustainable soil data management
Abstract
Soil is an irreplaceable resource for life on Earth and is a vital component in many ecological systems. Computationally, the soil is understood as an organized whole, consisting of a large set of interdependent systems and data that last over time and require modern and innovative approaches to support researchers, managers, and producers. This research is part of a broader work, having its main contribution to expanding the quality, reuse, and sharing of soil data, generating transparency and confidence in the process. The proposal aims to create a blockchain repository that adheres to the FAIR principles that include soil data and metadata.
