Abstract


Smart campus concept is related to the improvement of the quality of life of different groups that share spaces and services in universities. Social, organizational, and technological factors must be considered when building solutions and leveraging a smart campus. This work presents smart campus concept under the perspectives of innovation ecosystems, digital ecosystems, software ecosystems, and system of systems. We expect that such perspectives help identifying challenges and opportunities related to smart campus deployment.
