A Gamification-Oriented, Blockchain-Based Engagement Solution to Support the Fight Against Misinformation

Abstract


O aumento da propagação de desinformação, especialmente em períodos eleitorais, evidencia a necessidade de ferramentas digitais que auxiliem na detecção e combate às fake news de modo descentralizado. A modelagem dessas soluções técnicas deve combinar segurança, transparência, auditabilidade e engajamento para motivar a participação ativa dos usuários. Manter o engajamento de usuários em atividades de checagem de fatos ainda pode ser desafiador. Além disso, é essencial que os registros das interações, especialmente aqueles relacionados a recompensas, sejam seguros, imutáveis e confiáveis, garantindo justiça e transparência no processo. Este trabalho apresenta um mecanismo de engajamento baseado em gamificação e tokenização via blockchains. A solução permite remunerar checadores de fatos com tokens, garantindo um sistema seguro, justo e auditável.
