The Proceedings of the 3rd Workshop on Safety, Security, and Privacy in Complex Artificial Intelligence based Systems (SAFELIFE 2023) bring the paper selected and presented in the edition of the event held in La Paz, Bolivia, from October 16-20, 2023, as part of the 12th Latin-American Symposium on Dependable Computing (LADC 2023). In this issue, the proceedings include 01 full paper. That paper was selected through peer-review. This volume was organized by Naghmeh Ivaki (University of Coimbra, Portugal) and Tiago Cruz (University of Coimbra, Portugal), SAFELIFE 2023 Chairs. The article in this volume was submitted on 09/05/2023, and accepted for publication on 09/15/2023, with the final version submitted on 20/09/2023.
