The Proceedings of the 2nd Brazilian Symposium on Systematic and Automated Software Testing (SAST 2017) bring the papers selected and presented in the city of Fortaleza/CE, Brazil, from September 18 to 19, 2017, as part of the 8th Brazilian Congress on Software: Theory and Practice (CBSoft 2017). In this issue, the proceedings include 11 full papers. All the papers received at least three reviews. The event's program committee was coordinated by Arilo Claudio Dias Neto (UFAM) and Patrícia Machado (UFCG), who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on 06/05/2017, accepted for publication on 07/07/2017, with the final version submitted on 07/21/2017.
