Oportunidades, riscos e danos nas plataformas adjacentes a games

Resumo


Introdução. Plataformas como Twitch e Discord, ligadas aos jogos eletrônicos, ampliam a experiência dos jogadores com socialização, aprendizagem e entretenimento. No entanto, seu uso por crianças e adolescentes levanta preocupações, como exposição a conteúdos inadequados, discursos de ódio e aliciamento. Objetivo. Identificar oportunidades, riscos e danos relacionados ao uso dessas plataformas por crianças e adolescentes. Metodologia. Revisão de literatura nacional e internacional, com uso da classificação CO:RE para organizar benefícios e riscos. Resultados. As plataformas oferecem oportunidades como desenvolvimento de habilidades cognitivas, sociais e digitais, além de apoio emocional. Porém, envolvem riscos como exposição a conteúdos violentos ou sexualizados, discurso de ódio, radicalização e aliciamento, intensificados pela influência de criadores de conteúdo e falta de regulação. Considerações finais. Apesar dos benefícios, é fundamental atenção aos riscos associados ao uso dessas plataformas por crianças e adolescentes.
