Sobreposições entre Modelos Clássicos de Classificação de Jogadores: uma análise pelo Modelo PMC
Resumo
Introdução: A literatura sobre classificação de jogadores apresenta diferentes modelos de tipos, perfis, arquétipos, taxonomias e tipologias. Apesar de sua relevância para o design de jogos, a diversidade terminológica e conceitual dificulta a comparação objetiva entre esses modelos. Objetivo: Buscamos analisar modelos de classificação de jogadores a partir do Modelo PMC, composto pelas dimensões Preferências, Motivações e Comportamento, a fim de evidenciar sobreposições entre suas estruturas analíticas. Metodologia ou Etapas: O estudo caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa qualitativa, teórico-conceitual, baseada em revisão bibliográfica e análise comparativa dos modelos de Bartle, BrainHex, Tondello et al. e Yee. Cada modelo foi examinado quanto aos elementos que descrevem preferências, explicam motivações ou descritores de comportamento. Resultados: A análise indica que os modelos examinados apresentam ênfases distintas, mas compartilham categorias recorrentes. O Modelo PMC permite separar esses elementos em níveis analíticos distintos, contribuindo para comparar classificações heterogêneas sem apagar suas especificidades.
