Práticas Predatórias de Monetização em Jogos Digitais: um Estudo de Mapeamento Sistemático

Introdução: Práticas de monetização em jogos digitais, como loot boxes, microtransações e recompensas aleatórias, geram preocupações éticas, psicológicas e regulatórias. Objetivo: Este estudo mapeia pesquisas sobre práticas predatórias em jogos digitais, identificando práticas investigadas, riscos associados e medidas de mitigação. Metodologia: Foi conduzido um estudo de mapeamento sistemático em Google Scholar, IEEE Xplore e Scopus, contemplando estudos em inglês publicados entre 2010 e 2024. Após a seleção, oito estudos compuseram o corpus final. Resultados: Os estudos concentram-se principalmente em loot boxes e monetização aleatória, indicando associações com jogo problemático, maior gasto e sofrimento psicológico. A predominância de estudos transversais limita inferências causais. Como trabalho futuro, pretende-se desenvolver um framework para analisar a monetização predatória em jogos digitais.
