The Proceedings of the 5th Brazilian Symposium on Information and Computational Systems Security (SBSeg 2005) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Florianópolis/SC, from August 26-30, 2005. In this issue, the proceedings include 21 full papers and 17 short papers. These papers were selected through peer review.
