Current Issue
The Proceedings of the 1st Workshop on Software Engineering for Agent-Based Systems (SE4AS 2026) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held on September 8, 2026, in the city of São Paulo/SP, Brazil, as part of the 17th Brazilian Conference on Software: Theory and Practice (CBSoft 2026). In this issue, the proceedings include 7 short papers, 7 position and vision papers, and 1 industrial experience report. These papers were selected through a double-blind peer-review process from a total of 10 short papers, 9 position and vision papers, and 2 industrial experience reports submitted, resulting in acceptance rates of 70%, 77.8%, and 50%, respectively. The event's program committee was coordinated by Patrícia D. L. Machado (UFCG), Leandro Balby Marinho (UFCG), and Everton L. G. Alves (UFCG), who organized this volume together with Vânia de Oliveira Neves (UFF), Everton Cavalcante (UFRN), Heleno de Souza Campos Junior (UFRJ), Arthur Pilone (USP), and Silvana Morita (UFGD), the publications chairs of CBSoft 2026. The articles in this volume were submitted on 07/10/2026, accepted for publication on 08/03/2026, with the final version submitted on 08/10/2026.
