QoSOSLinux: Desenvolvimento de uma extensão Linux com suporte adequado a qualidade de serviço
Resumo
Este artigo apresenta os principais aspectos de projeto para a extensão de um sistema operacional de propósito geral (GPOS), rumo ao suporte adequado a aplicações multimídia distribuídas, através da gerência de recursos com garantias de qualidade de serviço (QoS). A arquitetura QoSOS, resultado de trabalhos anteriores, foi utilizada como base para a implementação de uma versão do sistema operacional Linux, denominada QoSOSLinux.
