O uso de dados nas cidades brasileiras: uma análise utilizando a Macrometrópole Paulista
Abstract
The digitization and use of data by cities is an irreversible trend within the concept of smart cities. The capture and access to databases is, within this context, a critical path for municipal management, urban planning and the creation of solutions focused on citizens and their needs. This article seeks to understand, through a Brazilian regional approach, the characteristics of public Open Data systems and the barriers to adopting solutions based on Data for Good, a movement focused on the use of data to impact society. The results found demonstrate the current maturity and future possibilities for improvement and how cities can benefit from this context.
