Palavras Mágicas: um jogo de plataforma para exercitar a Língua Portuguesa
Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic revealed that digital environments that are not suited to students' needs can affect learning, coupled with cases of illiteracy in Brazil, this becomes a concern in relation to the construction of digital technologies aimed at the Portuguese language. This article presents “Palavras Mágicas”, an educational platform and adventure game designed to help Elementary School students practice the indicative mode of Verb Tenses in a playful way, based on the Theory of Meaningful Learning. Initial tests showed that the game was well received, with an attractive visual design, fun and interesting challenges, however, it still needs adjustments for future application with the target audience.
