Platform for Spatial Data Management and its Application in Health Management

  • Raquel Sosa UdelaR

Abstract

Different organisms generate spatial data. Health organizations have their own data that could be spacialized. Using these data together allows for spatial analysis to support health service management and planning. However, joint analysis of such data presents several challenges. This paper proposes mechanisms that facilitate joint data management to support access assessment and health service planning. Specifically, it proposes a platform, built using the Design Science Research approach, to generate the design and implementation iteratively. It will be evaluated through exchanges with health experts and technicians.
