The Proceedings of the 8th Dataset Showcase Workshop (DSW 2026) bring the papers selected and presented at the edition of the event held from September 8 to 11, 2026, in the city of São Carlos/SP, Brazil, as part of the 41st Brazilian Symposium on Databases (SBBD 2026). In this edition, the proceedings include 13 papers. These papers were selected through a single-blind peer review process, from a total of 24 submitted papers, resulting in an acceptance rate of 54.2%. This volume was organized by Michele A. Brandão (UFMG), Carina F. Dorneles (UFSC), and Mirella M. Moro (UFMG), DSW 2026 chairs, together with Denio Duarte (UFFS), SBBD 2026 publications chair. The papers included in this volume were submitted on 05/11/2026, accepted for publication on 06/22/2026, with the final version submitted on 06/30/2026.
