Codecasts and Codelibras for Teaching Programming in Moocs

Abstract

To really improve in the practice of programming, a student needs to become familiar with the constructions of computer programs. In addition, it is necessary to consider that, in programming, in general, students prefer to learn more with examples than with theoretical explanations of the contents. Considering these two statements, to facilitate the understanding of programming codes, this work presents codecasts and codelibras as simple and short-term didactic resources for teaching programming in Moocs (MassiveOpen Online Course) environments accessible to the deaf.
