The Companion Proceedings of the 2nd Brazilian Symposium on Computing Education (EduComp 2022) bring the selected and presented works in the second edition of the event held online from April 24 to 29, 2022, with the theme "Computing Education: Creativity in the Blended Learning Era". In this issue, the proceedings include short papers selected through a single-blind peer review process for the following tracks:

  • Laboratory of Ideas, coordinated by Ana Liz Souto Oliveira (UFPB), with works submitted on February 21, 2022, accepted for publication on March 14, 2022, with the camera-ready version submitted on March 21, 2022; and,
  • I Workshop on Theses and Dissertations in Computing Education, coordinated by Heitor Augustus Xavier Costa (UFLA), with works submitted on January 31, 2022, accepted for publication on February 21, 2022, with the camera-ready version submitted on March 7, 2022.

The Laboratory of Ideas includes 18 short papers and the I WTD includes 05 master's works and 03 doctoral works. The videos of all short papers are published on GIEC SBC channel (Laboratory of Ideas PlayList). Rodrigo Duran (IFMS) was the coordinator of the Program Committee of EduComp 2022. This volume was edited by Elaine Oliveira (UFAM), Noemi Honorato (UFOP), Rafael Araújo (UFU) e Williamson Silva (UNIPAMPA).
