Abstract

Public policies combined with initiatives that encourage the retention and success of basic education students will contribute to greater inclusion of these students in higher education and the world of work. This summary presents an experience report of an initiative that combines the STEAM methodology (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) with Maker culture with an itinerant proposal that takes a laboratory of current technologies to public basic education schools.
