MapEdu+: A platform to support the educational inclusion of people with disabilities and neurodivergent individuals in public schools

Abstract


Given the challenges of educational inclusion for people with disabilities and neurodivergent individuals in public high schools in Porto Velho/RO, especially in the field of computing, it is essential to map institutions that provide accessible infrastructure and pedagogical practices aligned with the BNCC Computing guidelines. As a solution, we propose MapEdu+, an accessible and collaborative digital platform that helps identify schools with adequate support. The tool enables families, students, and administrators to make informed decisions, promoting the democratization of access to computing and ensuring greater equity in the educational process.
