An IoT Security Solution Using Computer Vision to Enhance School Protection

Abstract


In response to the need for increased security in restricted environments, we have developed a system aimed at providing efficiency and convenience for controlling vehicle access in private spaces. This system leverages advanced technologies, including IoT and Computer Vision on internet-accessible mobile devices, significantly enhancing surveillance and strengthening existing security measures within these structures. The developed system showcased a 95.6% effectiveness in recognizing vehicles captured by cameras, standing out for its low-cost nature and easy implementation.
