The Effectiveness of Virtual and Augmented Reality Technologies in Neurosurgical Education An Analysis of Their Impact on Medical Learning

Abstract


This study is a review aimed at consolidating and synthesizing the main research contributions on the technological applications of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) in the neurosurgical field, with a particular focus on analyzing how these innovations impact the learning and education of medical students and residents. The review covers a specific analysis of the applications of these technologies in the neurosurgical field, highlighting the qualitative aspects of the data obtained from the studies reviewed. In addition to providing a comprehensive overview of advances and limitations, the article explores the practical implications of these technologies for academic and professional training in the medical field under analysis.
