Exploring Log Reduction for Quick Recovery

Abstract


Efficient recovery protocols are important to increase the availability of replicated tolerant systems failures. This paper presents the design of a recovery protocol that explores the conscious elimination of commands contained in log files, using independent logger processes and loosely coupled application.
