Abstract

This paper aims to evaluate the serverless computing model using edge/fog devices. The serverless model can facilitate the provision of IoT services as it allows code execution without the need for infrastructure management. A case study of image processing is being implemented, using a Raspberry Pi 3 to run the OpenFaaS serverless environment.
