Intellectual Fraud: Some subsequent risks of Plagiarism in the Information Technology (IT) Education Area
Abstract
This study addresses academic plagiarism and the copying of ideas in the field of information technology, examining their ethical, technological, and legal implications. In the context of education, plagiarism has increased, compromising academic integrity. Furthermore, in programming, the absence of legal protection of source code raises concerns about misappropriation. Awareness of originality and ethics is essential in both areas. Plagiarism detection tools and intellectual property protection measures are key to mitigating these problems. The role of educational institutions, technology professionals, and legislation is crucial in promoting integrity and innovation.
