Abstract

This paper investigates the use of Intelligent Virtual Assistants (IVAs) in the education of blind individuals, aiming to analyze their current state and pedagogical impact. A systematic literature review was conducted using databases such as Scopus, IEEE, and Web of Science, covering publications from 2018 to 2023. The results show a growing interest in the use of IVAs, though there is little focus on advanced pedagogical solutions. It is concluded that, despite the potential of IVAs, further research is needed to evaluate their educational effectiveness.
