Dizziness App: An Application for the Optokinetic Treatment of Patients with Dizziness

Abstract

The measurement of mobile devices for activities of education, stimulation and rehabilitation in the health area has been growing significantly in society, contributing to learning situations in different spaces. Within this context Dizziness APP was created, an application for mobile devices with the objective of broadening the therapeutic strategies. These strategies have been used to restore body balance, associated with the application of eye, head and trunk exercise protocols as well as the use of optokinetic stimulation. The aim of the present article is to present and discuss the results of the application of DizzinessAPP in the aid of the treatment of dizziness through the stimulus of the reflex vestibular ocular (RVO) in a subject.
