Abstract
Chronic diseases, such as diabetes, are emerging and need to be effectively monitored to avoid complications. This risk requires new ways to support patients and improve self-management of the disease. This paper presents a systematic review embedded in an App Review for analyze serious games applied to diabetes care. We found 181 games from the Google Play Store, but only 08 reached the search criteria. The small number of games found indicates a potential area to be explored.
