Explorando Visão Computacional e IA para Auxiliar Indivíduos no Espectro Autista com o Reconhecimento de Expressões Faciais e Sentimentos
Resumo
O Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) abrange distúrbios do desenvolvimento que afetam a interação social e a comunicação. Esta pesquisa investiga o uso da inteligência artificial (IA), aprendizado de máquina e visão computacional para auxiliar indivíduos com TEA no reconhecimento de expressões faciais e emoções. Dada a crescente prevalência do TEA, que em 2020 afetava 1 em cada 36 crianças, é essencial desenvolver ferramentas inovadoras. Este estudo combina uma revisão da literatura com uma implementação prática, utilizando as bibliotecas DeepFace e OpenCV do Python, para criar uma ferramenta acessível e intuitiva destinada a profissionais de saúde, familiares e pessoas no espectro. A ferramenta permite o treinamento de habilidades sociais em qualquer lugar e a qualquer momento, despertando o interesse das pessoas com TEA em desenvolver suas competências sociais por meio de tecnologias atuais. Esta abordagem representa um avanço no uso de tecnologias avançadas para enfrentar os desafios associados ao TEA, destacando a importância de continuar explorando e aprimorando essas soluções.Referências
