Design Recommendations for Accessible Game Interfaces for Dyslexic Children
Abstract
This paper is a proposal for design recommendations for educational game interfaces accessible to children diagnosed with dyslexia. For the definition of these recommendations, we draw on Child-Computer Interaction studies, game elements and studies on pedagogical approaches with dyslexic children. The motivation of this work is due to the fact that dyslexia is a relevant subject and should be addressed in the most diverse areas of knowledge, since few games and applications are available to stimulate the teaching-learning process of this audience.
