The Proceedings of the 4th Brazilian Workshop on Intelligent Software Engineering (ISE 2025) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held on September 23, 2025, in the city of Recife/PE, Brazil, as part of the 16th Brazilian Conference on Software: Theory and Practice (CBSoft 2025). In this issue, the proceedings include 08 technical papers and 01 industry/emerging results paper. These papers were selected through a double-blind review, from a total of 16 technical papers and 02 industry/emerging results papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 50% and 50%, respectively. The event's program committee was coordinated by Mirko Perkusich (UFCG), Danyllo Albuquerque (UFCG), Emanuel Dantas Filho (IFPE), and Matheus Henrique Esteves Paixão (UECE), who organized this volume together with Carla Silva (UFPE), Jéssyka Vilela (UFPE), and Mariana Peixoto (UPE), the publications chairs of CBSoft 2025. The articles in this volume were submitted on 07/16/2025, accepted for publication on 08/06/2025, with the final version submitted on 08/10/2025.
