Abstract

Paraguay is a peculiar, pluricultural and bilingual country, positioned among the few countries in Latin America to maintain its native language alongside Spanish. However, Spanish is still predominant in large cities, in public and private education, in various social, political, legislative and judicial spheres, cornering the Native American language in rural areas, with few opportunities to develop within the young society, presenting itself as a factor of inequality in terms of educational tools for the initial level of learning. The objective of this work is the development of a mobile application for students of the initial level with audiovisual material in Guarani, in order to interact and strengthen the Guarani language. As a medium, the identification and correct pronunciation of alphabets, vowels, numbers, names of domesticated animals - wild animals, primary colors, names of native fruits - exotic fruits and school supplies are chosen. Exposing the ap-plication as a tool for the teacher when developing Guarani tasks at home. It promotes student interaction and motivation, promotes new cognitive learning abilities and, at the same time, provides a more recreational and novel learning environment, creating other expectations and interest of the student regarding the Guarani language.
