Simulated Digital Environment for Telemedicine Service: Innovation in Medical Education with Moodle
Abstract
Telemedicine, an emerging technology that has advanced significantly in medical practices, is becoming increasingly relevant. To prepare future physicians for the challenges of an ever-evolving healthcare system, the General Coordination of Digital Education at FUSVE, in partnership with the Medicine program at the University of Vassouras, has developed a educational environment that brings students closer to the practice of digital consultations. The proposal is for this environment to be used in medical education to teach the process of remote consultations—from scheduling to filling out medical reports and requesting exams—allowing students to acquire knowledge and practice correctly. By exploring the potential of free software like Moodle, an environment widely used in educational contexts and now applied to medical teaching, this initiative prepares students for modern medicine, where technology is essential in patient care.
