Social Aspects of Computing: An experience report of the course
Abstract
This paper presents an experience report on the Computer Science Social Aspects module, initially designed for Computer Science undergraduate courses. This module development was motivated not only by the growing impacts of current technologies on the way we live and think, but also due to the lack of topics related to ethics, morals, and society in the Computer Science Curricula. This lead many students to enter the job market without ever discussing the subject. It is expected, therefore, that this work acts as a guide for other lectures and educational institutions.References
