The Workshop on Modeling and Simulation of Software-Intensive Systems (MSSiS) is an event held by SBC since 2019, as part of the Brazilian Congress on Software. The purpose of the event is to bring together the community that discusses the use of dynamic models in the design of software intensive systems, including models@runtime and simulation models. The Proceedings of MSSiS are published annually, bringing the articles selected for each edition of the event.

Topics of Interest

MSSiS topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Modeling and Simulation (M&S) for Software Requirements Engineering
  • Modeling and Simulation (M&S) for Software Architecture
  • Modeling and Simulation (M&S) for Software Testing
  • Modeling and Simulation (M&S) for Software Verification and Validation
  • Modeling and Simulation (M&S) for Software Deployment
  • Modeling and Simulation (M&S) for Software Evolution and Maintenance
  • Modeling and Simulation (M&S) for Software Security and Safety
  • Software Simulation using many paradigms (such as Systems Dynamics, NetLogo, MultiAgents, DEVS)
