The Proceedings of the 7th Brazilian Symposium on Software Components, Architectures, and Reuse (SBCARS 2013) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held from September 29 to October 04, 2013, in the city of Brasília/DF, Brazil, as part of the 4th Brazilian Conference on Software: Theory and Practice (CBSoft 2013). In this issue, the proceedings include 14 full papers. All the papers received at least three reviews. The event's program committee was coordinated by Uirá Kulesza (UFRN), who organized this volume.
