Learning Object Manager for a Ubiquitous Education Environment
Abstract
The availability of pedagogical resources to learners, anytime, anywhere, in whatever device, is an open research topic in the context of Ubiquitous Learning environments. In these environments, the learners' context awareness is used to infer many important situations related to the management and availability of these pedagogical resources. Learning Objects constitute a strategy for the manipulation of said resources. This work aims to propose a learning object management model to LOCAL (Location and Context Aware Learning), a small-scale ubiquitous learning environment. A prototype was integrated and evaluated with the environment.
