Abstract

This paper presents an embedded system to control an intenvise care enviroment which aims to support the planning of actions that mitigate unfavorable conditions and out of safety standards in NICUs. We used to develop our embedded system the WiFi Module ESP8266 NodeMCU, DHT11 sensor, BH1750 sensor and Grove sound sensor, all on a perforated phenolite plate and controlled by an Android application with the Firebase API. The monitoring was performed at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Santa Mônica School Maternity Unit in Maceió-AL, where the devices were active for a period of 31 uninterrupted days.
