The Proceedings of the 22nd Brazilian Symposium on Software Engineering (SBES 2008) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Campinas/SP, from October 13-17, 2008. In this issue, the proceedings include 22 full papers. These papers were selected through a peer review.
