Abstract

Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders, such as those with Intellectual Disability and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), require special attention in the development of their mental and cognitive abilities. These disorders cause limitations in skills such as logical reasoning and problem-solving, necessitating stimulation for their development. During the conducted research, it was observed that finding solutions aimed at this audience is a challenging task, suggesting a scarcity of works focused on the population with Neurodevelopmental Disorders. Therefore, aiming to contribute to the existing solutions and support the target audience, this study developed a serious educational game to stimulate skills related to object identification and comparison of properties. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the developed solution is capable of stimulating the proposed skills. The application has great potential for further evolution by expanding the range of tasks working on the same concept and increasing the number of stimulated skills.
