Resumo

Digital games have been explored to support early literacy in inclusive contexts. This study analyzes a UDL-guided digitally mediated intervention using the game "Words and Drawings" in a first-grade classroom (N = 24). Writing-level progression was analyzed descriptively using psychogenetic classification, and word-level accuracy (0–10) was analyzed quantitatively in a quasi-experimental pre-test/post-test design. No student demonstrated performance decline. Quantitative operationalization of UDL dimensions indicated positive associations between engagement and action/expression indicators and writing gains. Results suggest that structured digital gameplay with teacher mediation may be associated with observable shifts in early writing development.
