Resumo

This paper presents Valide, an augmented intelligence infrastructure developed to support the technical evaluation of digital textbooks in the Programa Nacional do Livro Didático – PNLD. The platform integrates deterministic, AI-based, and hybrid validators with human review, traceable evidence, and institutional governance. The empirical analysis reported in this paper focuses exclusively on deterministic validators used in two official PNLD evaluation cycles encompassing 1,706 digital volumes. Results showed confirmation rates above 95% for the findings generated by these validators after human review. The findings provide evidence about the operational behavior of deterministic automation within the broader augmented intelligence infrastructure implemented by Valide, but do not evaluate the performance of its AI-based or hybrid validators.
